1) What if I don't have a home gym for a Precision Fitness trainer ?
You can get a good work out no matter what kind of equipment you have. What you are looking for is someone
who understands which types of exercises or massage therapy techniques are appropriate for you. Many times, regardless of
how much or how little equipment you have, a workout or rehabilitation program can be designed for your needs.
2) How much space do I need ?
Even if you live in a small and confined apartment, you will have more than enough room for a qualified
trainer. You may need to push some things to the side, but you will find that with functionally based exercises, you can get
an excellent work-out with limited space and equipment. We will require about the same amount of space for our in-home massage
therapists.
There are many different factors that can affect our pricing. It all depends on your specific needs, and
without being able to sit down with you, we cannot give an exact dollar amount. However, our price usually ranges between
$85-$160 per hour. What we charge is based on the types of services that you are looking for. Many times we can work out pricing
options that will work with your budget, and/ or we can work with insurance companies if you have a rehabilitation need. We
also offer partner and/ or group training, which can bring down the price per person. It is an excellent option for someone
who is working on a tight budget.
4) Can I have a Precision Fitness Trainer work with me at my local gym ?
We are respectful of area fitness facilities, and we will not train one of our clients' in another’s
gym. We will help you to understand how to use the equipment at your local gym, and we design programs for you to use when
you are not with a Precision Fitness trainer.
5) Do I have to eat a strict diet ?
Eating a strict diet will help you see results quickly. However, we will help you get the results you are
looking for with the current foods you enjoy. You will learn to make your favorite foods in the right proportions and with
the right mix of macronutrients.
6) What is Functional Training ?
Functional strength training is based on moving away from linear equipment like the bench press. This type
of training increases the amount of muscle you can gain and will balance out your muscles' growth in the strength curve. Functional
training will lead to a better sense of balance and
proprioception, which directly benefits your daily activities.
7) Why is posture so important to health ?
Your muscular system will have varying degrees of tension depending on your lifestyle and activities. This
can contort your skeletal system, place pressure on your Central Nervous System, and interfere with your body's ability to
function in a healthy manner. Good posture and proper exercise, along with a balanced diet, will help alleviate this pressure
on your body. Many health issues are caused by muscular imbalances that put pressure on your body's Nervous System.
